Paws Place was established in May 1994 in the hope that dogs could have a fun place to "hang out".
Most dogs, like their owners are social by nature and enjoy having company and friends. Here our
dogs are treated like family and we develop a personal relationship with every one. Each dog that
is entrusted to us is spoken to and touched on a constant basis. You will always see wagging tails
and happy faces at our facility. Young or old, shy or outgoing, there is rarely a dog that we can't
win over and make our friend!
Kristina "Tina" Warvi and her husband, Eric, are the owners of Paws Place. Tina and Eric have
dedicated their lives and careers to creating something unique and enriching for dog owners in
Northern California. The dedication and love they have for all dogs is limitless!
Both (as well as their Lead Kennel Supervisor) are certified by the American Red Cross for Pet
First Aid and CPR. Eric and Tina have received Pet Care Technician certification, and Tina also
has received her Advanced Pet Care Technician certification via The American Boarding and Kennels
Association (ABKA). They are also members of North American Dog Daycare Association (NADDA) and
the Professional Association of Dog Daycare (PADD).
If you really love your dog(s) and are considering kenneling and/or boarding but don't want to
lock them up in a cage for hours, days, weeks, or even months at a time... then give Paws Place
